Adapted from the National Weather Service in Seattle
Significant lowland snow is possible this weekend with another bout of strong Fraser Valley outflow winds across the north interior Friday and Saturday.
Preliminary but uncertain snow estimates:
- About one inch along the coast and southwest interior
- A few inches in the north interior
- Three to six inches around Puget Sound (including the Seattle metro)
- Six inches or more in the Cascades
Very possible a few spots see little to no snow and that some spots see more than six inches.
As we saw with the last storm, it doesn’t take much to wreak havoc on the roadways. Please stay tuned and get prepared over the next few days as we nail down the details.
